Dr. Ravikumar kavungal

Dr. Ravikumar Kavungal, is a already a very well known Ayurvedic doctor in the Kingdom of Bahrain and India over the last 28 years of practice. He got his Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree from the prestigious Vaidyaratnam P. S. Varier’s Ayurveda College, Kottakkal, in 1994. Dr. Ravikumar has vast experience in treating in- patient treatments with Kerala special therapies and classical Panchakarma treatments, and in guiding patients through a daily regimen suitable for healing their illnesses along with necessary lifestyle changes required for the easy management and relapse-control of various ailments. He has also participated in several national and international Ayurveda conferences, and his knowledge and experience have not only established him in India but also as an Ayurveda expert at the international level, with patients from all over the world. In 1997, he was a physician at the world-famous Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala Ayurvedic hospital and Research Centre, in Kottakkal, and served in their various departments in the state of Kerala and outside the state in Mumbai and Delhi until 2009, and considering his ability and clinical wisdom, he was promoted to the position of Chief Medical Officer and Superintendent of Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala Ayurvedic hospital and Research Centre, Kolkata and Kochi, from 2006 until 2009. By 2009 he had obtained the licence as an alternative medicine practitioner from the National Health Regulatory Authority of the Kingdom of Bahrain and had been working as a senior physician for the past 13 years, until April 2022. He is an integral part of SriSoukya as a Senior physician and makes it his motto to provide high-quality, affordable, sustainable, treatments to all.

Dr. Smitha Baby is an experienced Ayurvedic medicine practitioner for the last 22 years. She obtained her degree from the esteemed Vaidyaratnam P.S. Varier’s Ayurveda College in Kottakkal and worked in a number of Ayurvedic hospitals and clinics in Kerala before joining the renowned Arya Vaidya Sala Kottakkal in Kerala. She was given the chance to work as a doctor and IP in charge at the Arya Vaidya Sala Kottakkal’s Ayurvedic Hospital and Research Center at Delhi, Kolkatta and Kochi till 2009. From 2009 onwards she got the opportunity to practice in the Kingdom of Bahrain as Alternative medicine Practitioner until October 2020.Since she has a passion for studying Ayurvedic knowledge, she got a PG Diploma in Ayurvedic Cosmetology and was practicing this wonderful science of beauty in Kerala.Additionally, she has also participated in numerous national and worldwide Ayurveda conferences and webinars. Her expertise and experience have helped her build a reputation not just in India but also internationally, drawing patients from all over the world.During the span of her 22-year career, she has developed expertise in treating diseases that fall under metabolic disorders like hypertension, type 2 diabetes, increased cholesterol, and obesity. Dr. Abdul Shukoor is a seasoned Ayurvedic medicine practitioner specializing in sports medicine and general medicine for the past 6 years. He received his degree in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from esteemed Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Karnataka on 2016. After the graduation, he served in the state of Kerala in multi – specialty hospitals like Dr P Alikutty’s Kottakkal Ayurveda and Modern Hospital-Kottakkal, Ayurgreen Centre of Excellence in Ortho Neuro rehabilitation-Edappal, Vaidya health care-Kochi and world famous sports speciality DAISMAN Hospital- Centre of excellence in integrated sports medicine, bone and spine disorders, Calicut until November 2022. He has certificate programs in General practice orthopaedics and Neurology, Robotic & other advances in Neuro rehabilitation. He is well known for his expertise in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, post stroke management, sports injuries management, spinal disorders, and bone and joint disorders. In his native country India he had been practicing cupping therapy and management of sports injuries and orthopedic traumas with special bandage techniques.
